Abstract

Silica supported poly-phosphoric acid (PPA-SiO 2 ) has been utilized as an efficient and an environmentally friendly heterogeneous, reusable catalyst for the synthesis of bis(indolyl)methanes under solvent free condition. The significances of this protocol are mild reaction condition, excellent yield and simple work up procedure.
